The room was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was peaceful and serene, great to relax and unwind. The staff, including Pamela and her family, were cute and made us feel right at home. They even left us a welcome pack and a homemade pie, a good surprise. We would wholeheartedly recommend Brookvale Cottage to anyone visiting the area.
The only small improvement I could suggest for breakfast items would be to have a toaster available, as using the grill for toast was a bit less convenient.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The furniture was comfortable and suited the needs of senior people, providing ample support and stability. The general areas of the cottage were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate around. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like handrails and well-placed lighting, which made it safe and accessible for me as a senior woman.
I would have liked to have more assistance from the children working there for activities or outings suitable for senior guests.
